NORTH POLE WATER MAIN EXPANSION

Ten separate water crossings for 34 mile expansion of the City of North Pole’s water grid. Pipe was installed 12’ below deepest part of water bodies. Total HDD footage was over 3500’.

General Contractor: Exclusive Landscaping and Paving Inc

Product: 18” HDPE carrier pipe with insulated 15” water main inside.

Conditions: Saturated sandy gravel with up to 6” cobble, deep below the water table.

CHENA MARINA MAIN EXTENTION

Over 6200’ of 4” and 6” water main expansion of the Fairbanks ware grid. Two shots over 1000’ that were accomplished in just two days each.

Product: 6” and 4” HDPE SDR11

Conditions: Silt and sand with occasional gravel pockets in deeper sections.

CHENA RIVER CROSSING, FAIRBANKS WATER MAIN

A 600’ shot under the Chena River to bring Fairbanks city water to a previously unserviced area. Pipe was installed 11’ below River bottom.
